Overview:

Recreate the signature sounds of classic vintage hardware.

The vintage mastering plug-in bundle contains the FC70 Vintage Limiter, PTC-2A Vintage Program EQ emulation and PTM-5A Vintage Mid Range EQ emulation.

[ PTC-2A ] An outstanding emulation of one of the most sought-after vintage equalizers. Separate low frequency boost and attenuate controls provide the classic signature sounds, while a transformer-coupled tube amplifier emulation further enhances the vintage qualities. Innovative filter technology replicates the desirable analogue filter response without additional latency or CPU intensive processing.

[ PTM-5A ] Emulates the vintage mid-range EQ, replicating the sought-after passive filter character of original hardware, providing a versatile equalizer capable of subtle sonic enhancement or adding more obvious bite to the mid-range to help elements of the mix stand out. Ideal for acoustic instruments, drums and vocals, the PTM-5A perfectly complements the PTC-2A.

[ FC70 ] Based on the legendary smooth, effortless dynamic control and uniquely musical character of the classic Fairchild 670 limiter.
The FC70 uses state of the art DSP to emulate a fully balanced design, combined with an innovative delay-free feedback algorithm which accurately mirrors equivalent analogue behaviour. The sidechain includes fast attack and program dependent release settings, combined with Lateral / Vertical, Independent and Linked stereo channel modes.

Don't miss the significant cost saving over purchasing the plugins individually.

Features PTC-2A:
Separate LF Boost and Attenuate Controls Simultaneous low frequency boost and cut, emulating the classic 'Low-end trick'.
Physical Control Weighting Replicates the 'feel' as well as the look of high quality rotary controls.
Passive Filters 6dB / Octave passive filter emulation maintains the smooth frequency response and desirable control interaction of original vintage designs.
Transformer-coupled gain stage Similar to the original vintage EQs, the passive filters are followed by a transformer-coupled tube amplifier stage which further enhances the vintage qualities.
Analogue Filter Modelling Analogue Filter Modelling algorithms recreate natural analogue filter curves, without requiring high sample rates or CPU intensive upsampling, allowing more plugin instances in a typical DAW.

Features PTM-5A:
Low-mid frequency peak filter Constant Q peak filter switchable to 200Hz, 300Hz, 500Hz, 700Hz and 1kHz, with up to 10dB of boost.
Mid frequency dip / cut Constant Q cut filter, switchable to 200Hz, 300Hz, 500Hz, 700Hz, 1kHz, 1.5kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz 5kHz and 7kHz, with up to 10dB of cut
High-mid frequency peak filter Constant Q peak filter switchable to 1.5kHz, 2kHz, 3kHz, 4kHz and 5kHz, with up to 8dB of boost.
Physical Control Weighting Replicates the 'feel' as well as the look of high quality rotary controls.
Passive Filters Passive filter emulation maintains the smooth frequency response and desirable control interaction of original vintage designs.

Features FC70:
Fully balanced transformer-coupled design Emulates analogue circuit behaviour.
Physical Control Weighting Replicates the 'feel' as well as the look of high quality rotary controls.
Delay-free feedback design Innovative DSP provides a delay-free feedback topology, replicating equivalent analogue circuit behaviour.
Soft-knee limiter Onset of limiting is progressive as level increases, for smooth, transparent limiting.
Program dependent release Time-constants include two program dependent settings which react to the prevailing program dynamics.
Three stereo modes Independent L / R, Linked and Lateral / Vertical mode for flexible stereo processing.
